First print of Anne Frank's diary
Every now and then, as a valuer, you come across something of historical interest. For example, during a valuation day organised by DORCAS in Heemstede, an edition of “The diary of Anne Frank” was taken out of a plastic bag. The owner of the book had received the copy of the famous diary a long time ago from his wife .

This book has been reprinted many times and there are tens of millions of copies spread all over the world, but you rarely come across a first edition. Under the supervision of Anne's father, Otto Frank, more than 3,000 copies were initially printed in 1947. And every now and then one turns up.
Nu.nl wrote an article about the find:
The book can be viewed live during the viewing days from 13 to 16 June. The auction closes Tuesday June 17 at 18:00 CET.
